Can you set a container on grass or gravel?
On firm, level, dry ground, yes. After heavy rain it is a real risk of the truck sinking. Send a photo of the approach and we will tell you honestly.
What size for a barn or shed demolition?
A 20 yard suits most sheds; a barn usually wants a 25 or two loads. Call and describe what is coming down.
Can I include the concrete footings from a fence?
No. The posts are fine, the concrete is not. Knock it off first. We do not take concrete, dirt or fill in any quantity.
Do I need to be home for the delivery?
You do not have to be. What helps is being specific about placement, because the driver only gets one shot at it once the container is down. A sentence like 'left side of the drive, doors toward the garage' is all it takes.
How much weight is included?
Two tons on the 15 yard, three on the 20 and four on the 25. Anything over that is $75 a ton, billed from the landfill scale ticket so you can see the actual number. Household and remodel debris almost never goes over. Roofing, tile and plaster can.
Do I need a permit for a dumpster in Cut and Shoot?
Not on your own driveway, which is where nearly every Cut and Shoot container goes. A permit only comes into it if the container has to sit on a public street, and that is a call to the city or to Montgomery County rather than to us. If you are in an HOA, check their rules on placement and duration before you book.
