What we collect, and when

We only collect information in three situations.

• When you fill in the contact form. Your name, email address, phone number, company if you give one, and whatever you type in the message. It comes to us so we can answer you.
• When you use the chat window. The messages you type are sent to our server so the assistant can answer them. Do not put payment details or anything sensitive in there. It is for questions about sizes, prices and availability.
• When you visit any page. Google Analytics and Google Ads record the visit. See the next section.

We do not ask for payment details anywhere on this website. Booking and payment happen on our separate booking system, described below.

Analytics and advertising

This site uses Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion tracking. Between them they record which pages you looked at, roughly where you are, what kind of device you used, and, if you arrived by clicking one of our ads, that the click led to a booking or a call. That is how we tell which advertising is worth paying for.

This is done with cookies and similar identifiers set by Google. We do not sell this data and we do not use it to build a profile of you as an individual. You can opt out of Google Analytics entirely with Google's browser add-on, or block cookies in your browser settings. The site works either way.

Booking and text messages

Online booking runs on a separate system at awdumpsters.ourers.com, provided by Dumpster Rental Systems. When you book, the details you enter, including payment details, go to that system, not to this website, and are covered by its own terms and privacy policy.

If you tick the box to receive text messages about your rental, we text you about that order: delivery and pickup windows, and service updates. If you separately opt in to review requests and offers, that is a different consent and you can hold one without the other. Reply STOP to any message to stop them. Message and data rates may apply. We do not sell or share your phone number with anyone for their own marketing.

Who else sees it

Nobody buys your information from us, because we do not sell it. It is handled by the companies that run the tools we use to operate: Google for analytics and advertising, Dumpster Rental Systems for orders and payments, and our email and text messaging providers. Each holds it to deliver that service to us and nothing else.

We would also hand information over if the law required it. That has not happened.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and order records are kept for as long as we need them to run the business and meet our tax and accounting obligations. Analytics data expires on Google's own schedule. If you want us to delete what we hold about you, ask. See below.

Asking us to delete it

Call or email and ask. We will tell you what we have and delete what we are not required to keep. There is no form to fill in and we will not make it difficult.

Children

This is a dumpster rental website. It is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13.

Changes

If we change what we collect, we will change this page and update the date at the top.
